General construction services for a 12-story luxury hotel with 500 guestrooms, a 130,000-square-foot casino, a lagoon-style pool with water slide, 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, parking with 4,000 spaces, retail shops, nightclubs and restaurants, anchored by the 9,600-square-foot namesake Hard Rock Café.

The project was fast-tracked in the final months and BE&K completed services on time and on budget.

For this project, BE&K received Southeast Construction Magazine’s 2004 Judge’s Award for Best Hospitality Project, along with the 2004 Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction, awarded to commercial projects over $75 million by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., Florida East Coast Chapter.
