The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) honored BE&K with the Construction Safety Excellence Award in the Standard Industry Code and work-hour category.

Constructech magazine honored BE&K with the 2006 Gold Vision Award.

BE&K Construction was awarded the Excellence in Construction Award from the Alabama Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) for the roll wrapper installation project for Domtar in Ashdown, Arkansas.

The Associated Builders and Contractors awarded BE&K Construction the Excellence in Construction Award for the Toomsboro Georgia Plant Line I project.

BE&K Construction earned the Associated Builders and Contractors Merit Award for the California Portland Cement project.

BE&K Construction Company received Platinum level status in the Associated Builders and Contractors Safety Training and Evaluation Program (STEP) for the eighth consecutive year.

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama awarded BE&K the Eagle Award, ABC's highest level of recognition, in the General Contractor category at its second annual Safe Day safety competition.

The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) recertified BE&K as an Accredited Quality Contractor. This distinction demonstrates BE&K’s commitment to quality in four key areas of corporate responsibility: safety, employee benefits, training, and community relations.

The Alabama Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) awarded the BE&K Industrial Services Division and NorthStar Communications Group, a BE&K subsidiary, with an Excellence in Construction Award. Birmingham Parent magazine named BE&K one of the Best Companies for Working Families.

BE&K Construction was honored with the second place Merit Award in Associated Builders and Contractor's 2004 National Safety Excellence for the Standard Industrial Classification 16 - Category 7.

BE&K earned an OSHA STAR award for safety excellence at the BP jobsite in Decatur, Alabama.

SW&B Construction Corporation, a BE&K company, was awarded the 2003 STEP Platinum Award at the Maine Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Chapter Awards.

The Associated Builders and Contractors honored BE&K Construction, NorthStar and SW&B for their 2003 safety achievements. The groups received Silver Level status for the Safety Awards of Excellence competition sponsored by the Mobile region-Mid Gulf Coast Chapter of ABC. In the National Safety Program evaluation,

The Louisiana Chemical Association (LCA) recently recognized the DuPont plant in Burnside, Louisiana, as 'The Best in Louisiana'. The award criteria included employee and contractor safety, environmental performance and community involvement.

The BE&K Industrial Services Team at the Honda Manufacturing of Alabama project received the Bronze Level Quality Award for their innovations in quality management that have resulted in increased productivity and quality at the site.
